Shivakumaar Sunderajan is an outstanding entrepreneur with more than a decade of business leadership in Oman. His varied entrepreneurial experiences range from mining to hospitality, and his manufacturing ventures reflect his competence in several lines of business.

Under his management, Chrome’s mining operations in Africa as well as Limestone in Oman have done very well. His companies also have a portfolio of over 370 crores, and two very popular restaurant brands, Vasanth Bhavan and Shanghai Kitchen, with 15+ outlets in Muscat and Sohar.

Shivakumaar’s venture extends into the manufacturing side also, as he is heading the designing of a mineral water bottling plant. His visionary approach has ensured that Blue Stone Mining LLC kept going and continued to grow.

Durai Babu

Executive Director

Durai Babu has over 20 years of experience in mining and mineral processing. He has graduated from NIT Kurukshetra, India and has held executive positions in various organizations across India, Africa, Sri Lanka, and the Gulf.

Mr. Babu, Oman’s mining business, has been a vital constituent of the company for the last 15 years where he has led the organization through operational excellence and innovation in operations. His background in engineering coupled with an orientation toward efficiency makes him an asset to Blue Stone Mining LLC.

Dr. Hilal Mohamed Sultan Al Azri

Chairman & Technical Advisor – Mining & Mineral Geology

Dr. Hilal Mohamed Sultan Al Azri is an outstanding leadership in geology and mineral resource management, holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Geology, Minerals, and Energy Raw Materials from France and a Doctorate in Economic Geology from the University of Orleans La Source, France.

The individual holds over 30 years of experience and service in a number of positions in many other important capacities. He was the Chairman of Oman Mining Company, Member of the United Nations Commission for the Limits of the Continental Shelf, and Minister Plenipotentiary at Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His service includes roles such as Director General of Minerals in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Deputy Director General of Minerals responsible for the Geological Survey. Leverage his vast knowledge, Dr. Hilal moves Blue Stone Mining LLC forward on those routes of innovation and sustainability.
